You guys are completely awesome and have showered us with orders - I am creating these bags by hand and with love and attention to detail - in the order they were received. Once you checkout, we will send over your ship by date and save your spot in the production queue. Want to know an idea of the current ship by date before you place an order? Presenting THE Great pumpkin bag - lovingly created with so much heart and soul - I dreamt about this bag for weeks, quite literally. Once I knew I was going to make him, I found each night it crept into my dreams - how I would paint it, mold it, sew it. What lining I would use, the strap. Everything. There were many points I thought I couldn’t do it, but in the end, something I’m truly proud of was born.
The original has sold. Your bag will be specially made just for you. You can even talk with me about customizations (like strap length, lining material and pattern)

The bag takes about 25+ hours to create, because of this, I have an extremely limited number of spots I can open for them. Once this listing is sold out, please be on the lookout for a possible tiny collection of ready made bags before Halloween. I cannot make any promises other than the spots I have open here. I would never want to rush something so special.

*If you want a custom liner for your bag, just let me know! Brown suede is shown but we can also do a fun halloween or autumn print fabric!
💚Measurements:
✨The body of the bag measures about 10” wide and about 28” around the outside/circumference. The circular zippered opening up top is about 5” across and about 15.5” in diameter. The bag, not including the stem, is about 6.5” tall.
While all bags are cut using the same pattern and sizes, they are hand molded into their pumpkin shape so their exact dimensions may vary once finished - some might be a wee taller, some might be a little more squat. They will all be adorable and unique!

🎃A special note - you may have found our shop by first seeing a confusing and questionable ad on Facebook that said they were selling the bag you see in my photos for about $35. They have stolen all my photographs and videos - used the text from my listing here and on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok to scam buyers. Their ad and linked site show my bag, even including the Mesa Dreams logo I made and sewed onto the lid. I have heard from people who were duped into checking out with this fraudulent site that they were soon after spammed with weird emails out of China and had to cancel their credit cards. I do not believe this is a site like Temu where you get a cheap, poorly made replica of my handmade work - I believe it is a phishing site designed to steal your personal information. Thank you for taking the time to search for me and find your way here. As an artist and small business owners, this has been deeply hurtful and scary for my husband and myself. We are incredibly grateful to the wonderful people who have reached out and gone the extra mile to find us and place an order for a lovingly handcrafted, genuine leather pumpkin bag.

The smaller version measures 1.5" in diameter, not including the ear wires.

The handmade ear wires are made of pure hypoallergenic niobium.
This is for a totally custom fire radio strap, anti-sway strap and bucket set. Please message me and we can design it together! Shown are designs I’ve made for firefighters in the past to give some ideas.
I have an array of fonts for names and numbers to be added, lots of leather stain color bases and basically any designs you see in the shop on other straps and pieces can be translated into a fire radio strap. Don’t see the perfect design? Just let me know any ideas and/or questions you have and we can see what’s possible!

All of our items are handmade! We produce our items with love, with two human hands :), so lettering will never be machine-straight! We love this about our goods, but you should be aware of that fact before buying. Handmade goods have handmade marks of individuality, and that's the heart of the charm!**

**** Super important info to know ****
Leather is a natural skin and is not waterproof. All my pieces are coated in a water-resistant varnish that will keep it safe from the occasional drop here and there, but please do not ever immerse in water. Water will absorb, warping the leather and washing away the stain. Repeated exposure to water eventually rots leather and weakens it to the point it will snap with any pressure.
Just like your leather jacket or shoes, over time you will want to condition the leather and reseal it with one of the many great leather care products on the market.

Welcome to my workshop!
I grew up in my parent’s New Hampshire shops in the early 80s - a sterling and turquoise jewelry shop called The Silver Unicorn and then their leather shop, The Family Leather Shop! My playpen was in the middle of the store and as I grew, I got to play around with beading tools, leather tools and more.
Later on, they set up the jewelry shop in an amusement part in Myrtle Beach, SC where I learned the joys of being a carnie kid riding everything for free!
I’m not surprised at all that the living room of our little blue house is 100% the Mesa Dreams workshop! Making things for people and running a little mom & pop shop is in my blood and I’m so happy I get to keep it going!
